The Payroll Giving Scheme
The Payroll Giving scheme allows you to donate to charity through regular monthly donations from your pay – all you need to do is decide how much you would like to donate, and which charities you wish to support with your donation(s).
Deductions are taken from your gross pay, meaning it costs you less to give more! The tax that would otherwise have been due is included in the amount you donate – this means it is a tax-efficient way of giving to charity.
In addition Pfizer will aim to match each of your monthly donations by 100% (up to £100 per colleague per month as far as the total annual budget allows) in accordance with their long standing commitment to supporting the generosity of their employees
So, if you wish to join the scheme, or you already contribute and wish to amend how much you give and to whom you donate, simply click Start Donating below.
Charitable Giving will take care of the rest – they will advise the payroll department of the amount to deduct from your pay, and then distribute the money to your chosen charities once they receive your deduction.
