Set Up Charitable Giving through your GSK Payroll

All GSK employees can give to charity directly from their payroll.

In particular, the Payroll Giving scheme, as well as being a convenient way to manage your charitable donations, is also the most tax-efficient way to give.

GSK’s charitable giving is managed through our partner; Charitable Giving Logo

Ways to Give

The Payroll Giving Scheme

  • Give any amount from £5 per month to the charity or charities of your choice.
  • Charitable donations are taken from your gross pay each month, meaning the actual cost to you is less than the amount received by the charity.
For example, donating £5 per month only costs you £4 if you are a standard rate tax payer and £3 if you are a higher rate tax payer.
  • Have the flexibility to change your donation amounts or the charities you support each month.

Every Penny Helps

  • Round down your pay to the nearest whole pound to donate up to 99p per month to GSK’s chosen charity, Save the Children.

Charity Account

  • Pay into your own, dedicated charity account, called an Individual Options Account, and then make one-off payments to the charity or charities of your choice whenever it suits you.
  • Manage your account online to get a balance or statement at any time as well as to provide donation instructions or set up “standing orders”
